Tricks of the Advertising Trade

Year 4 are getting into arguments!
We are looking at writing persuasively and arguing this week - join the debate! We are discussing whether we agree with opening caves up to the public, if it means risking the welfare of a rare bat species. Look at this website to help you remember the rules for persuasive writing.
Classroom Caves
We have made bats to live in the cave in our classroom.
Year 4 have been making their own stalagmites and stalactites. The string is dangling in water that has bicarbonate of soda dissolved in it. It's slowly crystallising on the string, getting bigger and bigger everyday.. watch this space!!
